After a day of intense discussions, the CNCCS Consortium, formed by the CNR, ISS and IRBM Science Park awarded prizes to the 10 young Italian researchers who have produced the most innovative research in the field of Biomedical sciences. These prize winners were selected from a large number of candidates by a prestigious international prize committee.
The prize giving ceremony was held in the Parliamentary Acts Room of the Senate Library in the presence of Renato Schifani, President of the Senate of the Italian Republic, testifying the particular attention Italy’s highest institutions have paid to this event, and President Schifani emphasized how closely Italian institutions are following research and science.
The winners of this second edition of BioEconomy Rome were selected from the numerous candidates who applied, by a panel of international judges from academia, industry, and by the Nobel prize winner Rita Levi-Montalcini. The winners will receive a prize of $15,000.
